As the name suggests flatstock is anything that can be printed and is flat.

This includes, but is not limited to posters, stickers, wood, metal and plastics.

We have printed for MySpace New Zealand, fine artists such as Matt Moriarty, Adam Wheatley and Tony Rush, bands including The Hives, Beastwars, Throwing Muses, Camp a Low Hum and our own series of fine art prints. Examples of these prints can be enlarged below.

We are exclusively using new inks that are free of solvents and ocean destroying phthalate plastics.

On November 14th at a 12.02 pm a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Kaikoura leaving hundreds of tourists and residents stranded without water, food and shelter. The humility shown by the local and wider community was inspirational. Without hesitation the Takahanga Marae opened it’s arms to those most in need, inspiring a wave of response form the greater community.

Wellington screen printer Tom Lynch of Artisan Screen Prints has a long standing friendship and working relationship with local Kaikoura artist Matt Moriarty. Together they have produced a limited edition screen print for Kaikoura to fund-raise for the Takahanga Marae Charitable Trust. Together they managed to raise more than $5,000 for the charity.

For more examples of our flatstock printing see this video of an artshow put on by Artisan Screen Prints featuring 7 New Zealand Artists each designing a pair of works based on one of the 7 deadly sins and it's opposite Heavenly virtue. Available for sale from the gallery at Shelly Bay:
